• 30 Aug 2016 in National Assembly: We increased taxation on kerosene in last year’s Finance Bill and this has made life very difficult for many people. This exemption will encourage our people to use more LPG. In a recent survey by the World Bank, it was said that about 87 per cent of Kenyans depend on solid fuels as their primary source of fuel. • 30 Aug 2016 in National Assembly: Hon. Duale is interrupting me saying there is no land in Kikuyu. There is land in the areas of Ndeiya at the border of Kajiado and Kiambu counties. It is important because these facilities will also help in the thriving of new cities in Konza, Ndeiya and Kajiado. I ask Members to support it. This is a very important sector. We cannot have it that one community moves into land for which people hold genuine titles, grazes on the land and then claims ownership of the same land.
