In considering the Division of Revenue Bill, the Senate was in concurrence with the National Assembly with respect to the amount of shareable revenue. I want to encourage county governments to look, not just at this financial year’s Budget, but also to reconsider the Budget that they had proposed for the next financial year and institute posterity measures that will bring savings.
