(a) formulate national policies on matters relating to refugees in accordance with international standards; (b) advise the Cabinet Secretary on matters relating to refugees; (c) make a recommendation for declaration of prima facie status in respect of large scale influxes of refugees; and (d) propose and ensure the provision of durable solutions for refugees.
