As a recap, this project is called the Kenya-Somalia Border Securitization Project. It consists of a number of integrated or linked phases.   • 19 Mar 2019 in National Assembly: We mentioned the counties that the Executive visited to benchmark and they brought a report. So, the Report states the countries the Executive visited to benchmark. For information purposes, this project was started in 2015, during the last Parliament. I am sure the benchmarking report was tabled then, indicating the places they visited and the status report. I want Members to note that this Report was very well debated last week when several issues came up. view

It is critical that the House be seized of the matter that, as a Committee, we wanted the House to be informed of what is happening or what the Ministry of Defence is doing with regard to the border securitisation project. view
