  • 7 Sep 2021 in Senate: Thank you, Madam Deputy Speaker. Let me join you in welcoming Ms. Phan, the Executive Director of the International Law Institute (ILI). I am one of the Members who were trained at Washington D.C. We learnt a lot when it comes to leadership skills. Ms. Phan is warmly welcome to Nairobi, Kenya. This is where we normally conduct our business. The work that she is doing in Washington D.C. in training the leaders in different countries is worth it. This is because once we get back to our countries, we demonstrate whatever we learnt there. I thank her for coming. view

As the Vice Chairperson of the Senate Sports Club, let me say we have lost the volleyball captain and it is painful because he was very active in sports. During contributions in the House, he used to participate very well. He did not give us a hard time when we needed quorum in this House. We have lost a good leader of ... view
