  • 25 Jul 2018 in National Assembly: Thank you Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I thank the Mover for giving me this opportunity to support this important Motion. It is important we have CCTVs in our public institutions. But I would like to ask one Question, what will we do to teachers and staff who admire our girls and rape them in schools? What will we do about that? We need to have teachers and staff who are disciplined in schools. Even our parents are supposed to take responsibility. The biggest responsibility is bestowed on our parents together with the teachers. The electronic version of the Official Hansard ... view
  • 25 Jul 2018 in National Assembly: Once children have been taken to school, teachers are supposed to be very close to them, bring them together, talk to them and listen to them. We should also have counsellors monitoring students and addressing their issues all the time. Currently, we have very many cases in schools such as torching of institutions and defiling children. We have to do something as a Government to protect our children, buildings and everything. view
  • 4 Jul 2018 in National Assembly: Thank you. I also support the Motion by Hon. Mbadi and the amendment by Hon. Millie Odhiambo. view
  • 4 Jul 2018 in National Assembly: The security of this country is not negotiable. Our neighbours should respect Kenya. We are not talking about Luos fishing in Migingo. We are talking about Kenyans being harassed by other countries. Our neighbours are taking Kenyans for granted. We have been too lenient for many years. Hon. Matiang’i, the CS in charge of security must do his job. Our Committee on Implementation should do something today. This issue has been here previously. Why is it coming up again? Why are we sitting on our responsibilities? Can we do something today? view
  • 13 Jun 2018 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, for the opportunity. I support giving energy more funds so that they are able to serve Kenyans. At the same time, we need to ask them to give us quality service. You realise that in some areas, they are putting up transformers which do not work well when there is a lot of wind or rain. They go off frequently. We support but they should give us quality service. Thank you. view
  • 13 Jun 2018 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman for giving me this chance to support the Vote. It is not fair to reduce the money from the Vote because we need industries in the country. Our industries can improve the economy of the country. view
  • 13 Jun 2018 in National Assembly: In Tharaka Nithi, we need many industries so that our women and youth can improve their lives. But when we reduce money for industries, it is not fair. It is one of the Big Four Agenda that our economy needs to grow. It means that it will improve our lives because with industries, we are talking about water, food and roads and many other things that fall under this Vote. view
  • 13 Jun 2018 in National Assembly: I support. view
  • 13 Jun 2018 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady. I support and thank the Budget and Appropriations Committee for giving the Auditor-General enough money that they have always sought to do an enormous job. Thank you. view
