  • 7 Aug 2019 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker and Hon. Halima for giving me the opportunity to contribute. It is very important to screen cancer before it spreads. It is said that prevention is better than cure. We need to do exactly that. view

  • 7 Aug 2019 in National Assembly: The Government of Kenya does not have enough resources to cater for either cervical cancer or any other cancer. Kenyans are suffering and they cannot afford cancer treatment because it is quite expensive. We need to support Kenyans and do a lot of civic education and train them so that they can know when to go for screening. It is also important to talk to our young boys and girls because cancer is affecting everyone: the old and young. The Government is supposed to have enough resources so that we can take care of Kenyans. view

  • 3 Apr 2019 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I rise to support this Motion. From the outset, I want to say that Mr. Mutyambai has a lot of issues to sort out in the force and particularly, the welfare of our police officers. We have officers who have been in one grade for more than 10 years and this is very unfair. Look at the issue of housing. Remuneration has to be taken care of so that we can offer the best to our security officers in this country. If we do not take care of our police officers, then they cannot ... view
  • 27 Mar 2019 in National Assembly: (Tharaka – Nithi CWR), JP): Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I support the Motion. However, I would like to ask my friend and brother, Hon. Murugara, if it is possible we change the name “village elders” to “village administrators” so that it can take care of the old and the youth. I am inquiring if it is possible for him to do that. view
