21 Oct 2014 in Senate:
Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I am only raising a point of order by asking whether the Senate Minority Leader is in order to mislead the nation by implying that whenever the President is out of the country, the Deputy President becomes the Acting President. Is he in order? The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposes only. A certified version of this Report can be obtained from the Hansard Editor, Senate

21 Oct 2014 in Senate:
On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. Is the Senate Minority Leader in order to even try and contribute towards this Motion which, in the first place, he noted very well that he boycotted attending that special joint sitting of Parliament? Why should he continue discussing a Motion which he terms as baseless? As a Member of the “House Business Committee”, is he in order to come before the House and say that he does not know how this Motion found its way into this House?

21 Oct 2014 in Senate:
On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. If you observed, the Senate Minority Leader pointed at us when he was said that we were advising the President not to go to The Hague. Is it in order for him to keep on pointing at us and claiming that we were among the people who told the President not to go to The Hague?

21 Oct 2014 in Senate:
Asante, Bw.

2 Oct 2014 in Senate:
Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir. I support this Motion for adjournment. It high time that we really addressed the issues and problems that face this House. First, we have a Constitution which has not gotten a proper interpretation in Parliament and the Judiciary. I think that this is the right time to adjourn and face the Judiciary. Maybe we need to go to the Supreme Court, which is responsible for interpreting the Constitution, so that the Court can interpret for us what Articles 96 and 125 mean. I think that we really need both Parliament and the Judiciary to ...

On a point of order, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir. Is it in order, for the Member who is on the Floor to say that we are asking for an adjournment so as to go to The Hague? Did I hear well? Is it in order for her to say that we are adjourning so as to go to The Hague?

15 Aug 2014 in Senate:
On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I stand to wonder which Governor is being referred to by the Senate Minority Leader as having brought the Deputy Governor into this House to be impeached. He has repeated it time and again and as we went through the proceedings, I never saw anywhere where the Governor of Machakos wrote an affidavit wanting the Deputy Governor to be impeached. So, that is misleading information and I think for him to continue misleading this nation, it is very wrong because he is a leader who should be speaking the truth at all ...

15 Aug 2014 in Senate:
On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I would like the Senate Leader of Minority just to refer to one affidavit which was taken at the Governor’s office. Who said that an affidavit has a specific area and place where it should be signed? I think and I believe that even if it is taken on the floor, it does not matter; it should be considered as an affidavit. The affidavit having been signed at the Governor’s office does not mean that the Governor wanted the Deputy Governor to be impeached. Is he in order?
