14 Feb 2017 in Senate:
Asante Bw.

28 Dec 2016 in Senate:
On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. In addition to what you had directed the Chairperson of the Committee on National Security and Foreign Relations, would it be fair enough for him also to investigate and find out who ordered the police to withdraw from where they have been since morning?

10 Nov 2016 in Senate:
Mr. Speaker, Sir, to comment on that, I would say that it is brilliant idea to have such a project. However, I urge the Government to extend its generosity and establish or identify a dam which will still make for the deficit if the Murang’a project does not receive excess water or overflow, so that Nairobi residents will have a very promising way of making for the deficit because at the end of the day, the residents of Nairobi want enough water. I commend the Government for coming up with this wonderful project. However, there might be no continuity of ...

2 Nov 2016 in Senate:
Mr. Speaker, Sir, I join you and my colleagues in welcoming these great leaders from Nandi County. I encourage them to be coming more often, so that they can learn more. I know that some of them will be the future Senators. I wish to let them know that the core business of this Senate is to protect counties and their governments. More so, I want them to know that the Senator whom they sent to this Senate as their representative protects the interests of Nandi County. I hope to visit Nandi County to see what is happening as far ...

18 Oct 2016 in Senate:
Mr. Speaker, Sir, in the last devolution conference, I personally accompanied you to Meru. I felt so humiliated when I saw the governor having water put on his table while they made sure your water was put on the floor. That forced me to walk out of that function. It was a humiliation of the highest order. Unless the governors turn to be different, it is not in order for Senators to attend these functions until things are put in order.

Mr. Speaker, Sir, pursuant to Standing Order No.45(2)(b), I rise to seek a Statement from the `Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Land and Natural Resources regarding the ongoing Northern Water Collector Tunnel Project which is intended to provide reliable water supply to Nairobi City County and its environs. 12 Oct 2016 in Senate:
Mr. Speaker, Sir, noting that we will be going for a recess very soon, I request that this matter be responded to within one week’s time. The matter has to do with water, which is life, and it is raising a lot of issues. The Chairman is just a walking distance to the Minister’s Office.

12 Oct 2016 in Senate:
On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. Is it in order for the Vice Chairperson to purport to be speaking on behalf of the police? That is a serious issue. She needs to inquire from the office of the Inspector General of Police whether they are doing it or not. She is a Member of the Senate. I do not think she qualifies to give that direct answer.
