  • 29 Apr 2015 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, what we have done there is that we have given the accounting officer power. He may choose to have a committee called the Inspection and Acceptance Committee. This came in the realisation that sometimes the quantities of some of the goods being received are so huge and they need a team to inspect them and ascertain that the qualities are correct. They can even test them. That is just an ad hoc committee to help in ascertaining that the goods delivered actually meet the quality and the quantity in the requirements. view
