Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I have forgotten something important. In that amendment, there is Clause 4D; the last paragraph to that amendment. It was not a Committee amendment. I do not know how it found itself there. Therefore, I wish to drop the part of the amendment, which says:- “4D A person who commits an offence under subsection 4C is liable on conviction to a penalty of ten per cent of the amount involved.”

Clause 26 of the Bill relates to the Betting, Lotteries and Gaming Act. It seeks to amend the Act by deleting the word “seven point five” and substituting therefor the word “fifty”. It was imposing a 50 per cent tax on betting, lotteries and gaming collections.
