  • 28 Apr 2011 in National Assembly: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, although you have not given me permission to ask my supplementary question. Masinga Dam was constructed in 1970s and its initial plan was to provide the local people with water for irrigation and clean water for domestic use. This water was taken, at one time, in a line from Masinga to Kitui. This time round the Minister wants to do a second line from Masinga to Kitui again. The Minister is constructing new dams while we have Masinga Dam. Why can she not supply the Masinga people fresh water from the dam? view
  • 28 Apr 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I must appreciate the work done by the Minister in various parts of this country. I would like her to assure people of Masinga that they will get water. Could she also--- view
  • 13 Apr 2011 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. This problem is not just found in Central Turkana and Kisumu. In my constituency, I collected the information and brought it to the Minister. Up to date, some people have not been paid. Could he confirm to this House when he will pay each and everybody who participated in the census exercise? view

  • 9 Feb 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to thank the Assistant Minister for the answer. However, this is the only tamarc road, which cuts across my constituency. It is a very important road serving three countie; namely, Embu, Machakos and Kitui. He has said that the road works will commence by March this year. Could he tell us the amount of money they have set aside for this road? view
  • 9 Feb 2011 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. The Assistant Minister seems not to understand the deplorable state of this road. Could he visit this road, so that he can understand what we are saying? view
  • 9 Feb 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I am not sure whether the Assistant Minister is aware that last year in December two children were crashed to death by a miraa van. This was because of the potholes. Could the Assistant Minister give a timeframe as to when the construction of these roads will begin and when they will be completed? view
  • 14 Dec 2010 in National Assembly: asked the Minister for Public Health and Sanitation:- (a) whether he could provide a list of all the gazetted and ungazzetted dispensaries in Masinga Constituency; (b) why the newly recruited nurses under the Economic Stimulus Programme were not posted to the gazetted dispensaries without nurses; and, (c) When the Ministry will post a nurse to every dispensary. view
  • 14 Dec 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, first of all, I thank the Assistant Minister for the answer. However, four dispensaries are missing on his list. I do not know whether they have been gazetted or not. Could he tell us the status of these dispensaries? These are Kiatine, Kikule, Katothya and Ndovoini dispensaries. Could he tell us the status of these dispensaries? view
  • 14 Dec 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, he has mentioned three out of the four dispensaries that I have mentioned. What of the other one; that is Kikule Dispensary? view
