• 23 Nov 2021 in National Assembly: Lastly, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, we still have a lot of challenges in this country where we have minimal collection of revenue by governors. We must also try to remind governors to come up with creative ways of raising revenue and not those methods that are killing the economy of the people at the bottom. I stand to support this concept but the Bill needs to be relooked so as to improve on areas where there are loopholes. view

I appreciate the appointment of the director in relation to social matters on all the groups. With the clarity of the entire administration from the registration of the groups, mobilisation, members’ contributions, this gives me courage to support the Bill. view

We have had some challenges when handling most of the groups in our areas where you get a member in ten groups and when the Government is giving money, the person benefits from very many groups.
