2 Jan 2013 in National Assembly:
Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, thank you for allowing me to add my voice to this particular Bill. Ideally, these honours should be bestowed upon people who have gone beyond the call of duty to contribute to the welfare and well being of society. This has come at a time when we really need to reward Kenyans by way of recognition and not by way of cash for what they have done for the nation. I would also like to take this opportunity to wish the people of Kuresoi a happy and prosperous new year as we go for peaceful ...

20 Dec 2012 in National Assembly:
Thank you, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, for allowing me to contribute in support of the Report of the Committee. In supporting it, I would like to say that Mr. Kimaiyo, on merit and ability, qualifies for this particular post. He has proved himself worthy of this service. He is a career policeman who is honest. He is tough, but he is also amiable and humane. I have worked with him and we are justified that 10 years later we have very good officers who are rendering service to this country. I support.

5 Dec 2012 in National Assembly:
Thank you, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, for allowing me to contribute to this very important Bill. I would like to congratulate hon. Kioni for bringing this very important Bill at a time when farmers have seen so many false starts on the issue of pyrethrum in Kenya.

They have always advanced loans to this sector, which end up being misused by ...

22 Nov 2012 in National Assembly:
Mr. Speaker, Sir, I just want a simple clarification from the Minister. When the three KDF soldiers were killed, you have mentioned the word “spontaneous”. Are you saying immediately those three soldiers were killed, the other soldiers went on rampage because they were annoyed that their colleagues had been killed? At what point did the District Security Committee order the redeployment of the other askaris ? Was it after the burning and looting of property that the Provincial Security Intelligence Committee sat down and ordered that security be restored when all this mess had been done? Could you clarify the ...

22 Nov 2012 in National Assembly:
On a point of order, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. I have listened to the Members, especially the Chairman of the Committee, who has really given us the insight of the Bill. Will I be in order to request that the Mover be called upon to reply, so that we do not repeat issues?

Mr. Speaker, Sir, indeed, I have consulted and I see signs of the donkey curse in the answer. I agree the Minister can give us a better answer.
