  • 4 Mar 2010 in National Assembly: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. Now that the Assistant Minister has said that they are coming up with the new criteria, can he assure me - and my brother, C. Kilonzo, because these two roads connect or pass through our constituencies – and the House at large, that this road will be considered because it will reduce the distance between Thika and Mombasa by about 60 kilometers. This is the same road the Assistant Minister uses when he is going to pay dowry! view
  • 3 Mar 2010 in National Assembly: , asked the Minister for Livestock Development whether he could provide a list of projects which have been undertaken by the Ministry to promote livestock production in Kitui West Constituency since January, 2008, considering that the constituency is predominantly a livestock-rearing zone. view
  • 2 Mar 2010 in National Assembly: asked the Minister for Roads: (a) to state the reasons for the delay in the construction of the Kibwezi- Kitui Road; and, (b) to indicate when the construction of the road will start. view
  • 2 Mar 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, while I appreciate the answer given by the Assistant Minister, it is not satisfactory. This Question came to this House the first time on 19th January, 1968. Thereafter, it has been asked by nine Members of Parliament from Ukambani. The last time it was asked by hon. C. Kilonzo in December 2009. However, the answer was the same. Having given the same answer to this House since 1968, how serious is he to complete this road? view
  • 2 Mar 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I have heard the Assistant Minister. He has said that he is a serious man and I want to give him the benefit of doubt. But if his seriousness in answering this Question is the same seriousness with which he answered a Question about a bridge in my constituency, then probably, I need the protection of this House because this Question has come to this House so many times. Where will the money come from? He has not answered that question. view
  • 9 Dec 2009 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I apologise for coming late. It was because of reasons beyond my control. view
  • 9 Dec 2009 in National Assembly: asked the Minister of State for Provincial Administration and Internal Security:- (a) to provide a list of the doctors authorised to sign a Kenya Police Medical Examination Form (P3) in each of the provinces; and, (b) what urgent steps he is taking to ensure that there is an increase in the number of doctors authorised to sign the forms nationwide. view
  • 9 Dec 2009 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, as much I would like to thank the Assistant Minister for his answer, it is apparent that he is living in a different world from the one I am living in. I am talking particularly of Nairobi. In Nairobi, there is only view
  • 9 Dec 2009 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I am not satisfied, because listening to what the Assistant Minister has said, he has thrown the issue back to the Ministry of Medical Services, yet we are talking of one government. Effectively, he has only told us that Kenyans will not be able to access justice; P3 Forms are quite important in accessing justice. Under the circumstances, could he inform us what the Government is doing to ensure that Kenyans access justice? view
  • 3 Dec 2009 in National Assembly: asked the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance:- view
