  • 12 Feb 2009 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I would like to thank the Minister for that answer. I appreciate the issues he has raised. However, I need his confirmation that he is doing something about it. I believe by the time they will be through with the consultations, there might be nothing to safeguard. As I mentioned, Kitui District Hospital, itself, does not have an ambulance. They are currently using the ambulance which was meant for Yatta Health Centre. They require about Kshs360,000 to repair the ambulance. Could the Ministry consider giving them that money so that they repair their ambulance and release the one meant for Yatta Health Centre? view
  • 9 Feb 2009 in National Assembly: asked the Minister for Roads:- (a) whether he is aware that Road D511 which serves Lower Yatta and Katulani districts is currently in a deplorable condition; and, (b) when the Ministry will release the funds which have been earmarked for the improvement of the road. view
