Wafula, it will be your responsibility and all of us in this House to protect the interests of the county governments and the counties. I have no doubt that my new colleague will protect that responsibility. Apart from our nominated Members, we spend time going round our counties to plead with the electorate to give us votes. • 30 Dec 2022 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I also appreciate the Committee for doing a good job. I served with the Governor when she was the Woman Representative for Meru County. I thank this Committee because Article 181 sets out the grounds on which we can impeach a Governor. It was important for the Committee to apply those principles of law on the allegations made against the Governor. This House shall continue to stand firm and to uphold the law. view
