Indeed, the purpose of my Bill was on the issue of political parties funding. The current sharing formula is based on the presidential votes, but we wanted to provide an alternative where if you do not use the presidential votes, you can as well use the number of seats that a political party has won in terms of the Senate, the National Assembly and the county assemblies.   • 21 Feb 2018 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. I agree with what Hon. Mbadi has said. Plans are at an advanced level to bring our all- inclusive list. I just wanted to clarify to Hon. Rachael in line with Article 127 of the Constitution, I do not think it is a crisis. I know the BPS was tabled. In line with Article 127, we already have existing Commissioners. Unless they are replaced, if there is function to be done, they will continue doing that. It is a point of information for Hon. Rachael to be aware of that. view
