Right now, transport has come to a standstill in the matatu industry. We wonder whether the decision that was made was inclusive because this is bringing many problems to commuters. This is going to be a disadvantage, especially to the farmers who grow sugar. It is important that these issues must be looked at to see how we are going to address this issue. So, the element of corruption is very critical. For the railway gauge, I had expected the President to mention something because we need a railway line. But where is the railway now? It is because of ... view
  • 1 Apr 2014 in National Assembly: On the issue of security, it is wanting in this country. In fact, when you go to church, very soon we are going to look for policemen to take us to church. • 26 Mar 2014 in National Assembly: Thank you, hon. Speaker. I rise to support this Report. When committees work on issues, their reports must be decisive. It should not be a public relations exercise. If you read the Report keenly you will realise that from the observations you come to conclusions and then you come to recommendations. view
