As a country, we must think of coming up with a sports institute that will be able to identify these talents at very young levels. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I join Sen. Cheruiyot in condemning warmongers in our country. We know that right now, people are fighting where we come from in Bomet and Nakuru counties. We condemn this because the Senate is a peace loving institution and all of us should stand together to condemn this. view

  • 25 Sep 2018 in Senate: For example, when it comes to Clause 16(2)(a), it is so open that a person who wishes to undertake an upstream operation - of which I also question “upstream” - this Bill is more of downstream. It says- “A person who wished to undertake upstream petroleum operations shall- (a) apply to the Cabinet Secretary for a petroleum agreement; or” So, it has created many centres or areas that you can easily make many applications and get away with some things.
