However, I also want to assure hon. Members that the Kshs105 million allocated will be utilised immediately to repair the damaged sections of this road so that we can make it motorable between now and when major works commence. view

We know that, that has not always happened. Therefore, measures have been taken to ensure that the contractor complies with the provisions of the contract, namely, to maintain the diversions. I would like to confirm to you that we have conveyed these sentiments to the Ministry of Finance and I am optimistic that they will be here in a very short while.
