Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I thank the Chairman for the elaborate answer. However, I would like to raise two issues in respect to the answer given. I would like him to indicate whether the necessary steps have been taken to include the Kenyenye-Nyansembe Road section in the ongoing improvement programme as directed by His Excellency the President. Secondly, the Kenyenye-Riokindo-Magenche Road is being undertaken under the low volume road infrastructure programme. The Kenyenye-Nyansembe section which is the subject of this question is actually of a higher classification. This is a major highway which attracts higher volumes of traffic. ...

Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, once again, I thank Sen. Hargura for this answer. However, you have heard him inform this Senate that there is an ongoing study being carried out through PPP. I would like to know when this feasibility study is expected to be complete. If he could give an indication regarding the timelines when travellers on this route could expect to be relieved of the current difficulties?

Thank you Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. Mine is in the form of an observation addressed to both parties. In all these proceedings, I get the impression that the working environment between the executive arm and the county assembly is severely strained. There is bad blood between the members of the assembly and the executive. This has obviously led to a lot of misunderstanding and conflict between the two arms of government in the County Government of Nyeri. Therefore, I want pose a question or two to both parties: Do both parties acknowledge the existence of this poor working relationship? Do ...

Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Sir. Mine is in relation to the procurement process relating to the refurbishment to the Karson Photo House offices. I want to make reference to page 51 Vol. 3 of the Assembly document where a Taskforce was being formed to carry out these works. I heard the lead counsel raise the question of whether the matter had been referred to the Tender Committee. However, I see that on the following page which is page 252, estimates were indeed carried out by the County Works Officer. On page 53 I see that there was an award of ...

Mr. Speaker, Sir, I thank you for the useful guidance. The Sitting we will have next week should be a normal Senate Sitting, except that it is quasi-judicial . I am not sure whether we should put on the gloomy faces on that occasion, as suggested by Sen. Wako. I do not think that, that would be necessary. However, my understanding of the deliberative session is that we will sit in closed door session to seek clarifications, so that we can focus on the key areas before going into voting. I just need some clarification on that. Thank you.

Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. So far, we have been faced with four cases of impeachment. In all the four, the Senate decided to deal with them by way of establishing Special Committees. I have had the privilege to be the Chair of the Special Committee that dealt with the impeachment charges against the Governor of Kericho County. Given the experience gained, I oppose the Motion to appoint another Special Committee to deal with the Nyeri County impeachment matter. The impeachment of the Nyeri Governor has attracted a lot of public interest, not just from the people of Nyeri and ...

On a point of Order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. The Member on the Floor is making very important contribution, but we can hardly hear him because of loud consultations going on around him.
