Mr. Speaker, Sir, the issue of incomplete roads or contracts is becoming too common in this country. We have a particular road that runs from Kenol to Maragwa, Murangâa going to Kiria-ini. The contractor went and dug potholes on the road about three months ago and the Minister was on that road a few months ago to have the pot holes filled. When will the Assistant Minister complete that work because it is becoming very dangerous to drive on the road from Maragwa to Murangâa?

Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I would like to thank the Minister for the good work she has done. She led our good team to Berlin and they performed well. Even with all the good work, I know this country can do far much better, especially if we put in more effort in tapping the talent that lies in the people who live in the eastern side of the Aberdares. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I would like the Minister to clarify why he took so long to understand the situation in Kenya Airways, especially after the same issue had been discussed in this House when we were contributing to the debate on the Vote of the Ministry of Transport? I would also like him to clarify whether we have any reciprocating agreements with other airlines to employ our cabin crew? Kenya Airways has employed so many foreign cabin crew members, but we do not have any cabin crew who are employed in other countries.

Mr. Speaker, Sir, for a long time we have been discussing and talking about relief food. What is the Government doing to arrest this situation of food shortage in the country? A lot of money is being used in provision of relief food. What is the Government doing to make sure that the money that we are using in buying relief food is properly utilized in setting up irrigation schemes, so that people produce enough food for this country?

Mr. Speaker, Sir, I would like the Minister to tell us exactly how long it takes for a group to receive its funds after application at the Constituency Women Enterprise Fund. That is because I have groups in Mathioya which applied for those funds almost six months ago and, up to now, they have not received anything.
