They charge Kshs10,000 for a trip to Moyale and if you take two or three of them, you will have to pay Kshs30,000. So, how can you tell us that policemen are supposed to give us services and yet they are selling these services there? Hon. Speaker, I disagree with the Report. view

  • 11 Aug 2021 in National Assembly: rights as enshrined in Article 37 of the Constitution to demonstrate and picket. Security is supposed to be provided for the demonstrators. Therefore, it is not right for police officers to disrupt and beat peaceful demonstrators. The CS in charge of Interior and Coordination of National Government should advise the OCS, Officer Commanding Police Division (OCPD) and Regional Commissioners to device ways of guiding demonstrators during demonstrations. view
