  • 27 Jun 2019 in National Assembly: Those referral hospitals are meant to serve Kenyans. Usually, Kenyans travel from far to seek treatment in those referral hospitals. Our constituencies lack facilities where critical cases can be attended. So, it would be good for the Government to ensure those facilities are well funded. Also, they should employ well trained and skilled personnel in those hospitals, so that they can give good service to the patients. view
  • 27 Jun 2019 in National Assembly: According to the Report, some of the hospitals have been encroached by roads and yet, they are not compensated by Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA). This is something which needs to be looked into so that they can be compensated to enable them to run their activities well. The five referral hospitals we have in this country cannot offer good services to patients. Therefore, the Government should take initiative and increase their number. We have Level 5 and Level 4 hospitals in our constituencies. So, the Government should find ways of elevating them to referral hospitals so as to serve ... view

I support the amendment Bill since it will help many people to survive in business without being worried that they can be pursued any time or that their things can be taken away by the lending institutions. The lending institutions normally pursue the guarantors since they know that they ... view
  • 25 Jun 2019 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me this opportunity to add my voice to this important Bill. First, I would like to thank the Departmental Committee on Energy for coming up with this Bill. That is because it will curb lack of adequate power. This will be an efficient way of generating power in this country. view
  • 25 Jun 2019 in National Assembly: Nuclear energy is efficient and very cheap compared to hydropower and other sources of power. A nuclear plant can occupy a very small piece of land. So, I support this Bill. I am aware that the UoN provides courses on nuclear energy suitable for those who will be employed in nuclear plants. They are well trained and acquire knowledge which they will exercise once employed to work in the nuclear plants. view
  • 25 Jun 2019 in National Assembly: At the same time, I want to urge the Nuclear Regulatory Board to handle radioactive materials with care. We all know that nuclear materials and reactors used to generate power emit radiation which is harmful to human beings and cause cancer. Therefore, once the nuclear plants are built, they should employ skilled people.
