Mutahi Kagwe, for reading that very comprehensive response from the Secretary. But from what you have already stated here, it is important to note that Legal Notice No.534, which was signed in 1997, gave the teachers hope that the allowances said thereof were going to be paid in ten phases. First, the Motion is well-intended and it has what we can say a national approach to food insecurity. This is one of the Motions trying to accuse the arm of the Government for neglecting residents where such projects are located. Some of them were Ministers, others were Assistant Ministers, others were Cabinet Secretaries and some were in different Government departments. Njiru who was a Member of Parliament for Ndia Constituency in Kirinyaga Constituency. He was a Member of Parliament from the 1980s where he was very instrumental in the founding of this nation. • 3 Jul 2013 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I was suggesting that much as we support the Mover and the Motion, it is important to note that our last session, as Sen. Karue has said, has many weeks. It is proper if one of the weeks was brought forward, so that we can have a shorter session towards the end. Secondly, with the two recesses, one in August and the other in December, this is the time when most of the committees move out to compare what they have done in the Senate. When the Bill was passed, there was confusion in the offices at that time. To our surprise, nothing much has happened since the Bill was passed.
