• 28 Oct 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, this Question was deferred two weeks ago because the answer that was given then was not satisfactory. Even the one he has given today is not. The Question is: Why was the money relocated from the Voi-Taveta Road to elsewhere? When are they going to allocate funds? When is the road going to be done? The answer he has given does not indicate why the money was taken away from Voi-Taveta Road. It does not also indicate when the road will be constructed. view
• 28 Oct 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, this Question has been handled very casually and I want to ask the Assistant Minister to confirm or deny that, that road will never be repaired. That is because if it is repaired, the produce from Taveta and Northern Kenya will find its way to Coast Province and, therefore, deny the produce from other parts of the country a chance? That is the only reason that, that road has never and will never be done! view

To date, it has not been presented and tabled in the House. When is it going to be presented to be discussed by this Parliament? view

Why is it that when the communities he is referring to ask for help when they are being terrorized by wildlife, it takes one month for rangers to reach there but when an elephant or a hippo is killed by the same communities, the rangers are there within one hour? view

If the policy is after you report, they take two hours, then we need to be told here. We have heard the allegations that when somebody is killed they take a month but when a hippo is killed, the whole KWS from the headquarters will be there within an hour. What is the policy? view

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance is now giving us a figure of Kshs1.3 billion? Why is there a contradiction while the money comes from the same Government? view
