It says that where a contravention of any of the provisions of this Act is made for which no fine or penalty is expressly stated, the person so defaulting shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding Kshs1 million or to an imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both. It continues to spell out penalties under Clause 77(4) on offences relating to radioactive waste and spent fuel. view
