But if they do not have ID cards, they cannot transact those kinds of businesses. So, an ID card is so important that having the processing centre only in Nairobi has really inconvenienced so many Kenyans. They cannot transact their daily businesses. We want the central processing unit for ID cards to be taken to the constituency level so that it becomes easier for people to get ID cards. Whenever there will be drought leading to deaths as a result of hunger, the money will be used. The fund should be used specifically for the purpose of mitigating drought in such areas. We also need to put people of integrity in those offices to avoid misuse of money like what we have seen in many other Government institutions. view
