  • 14 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, though Mr. Njuguna is a Member of the Departmental Committee on Education, Research and Technology, I wish, maybe, to clarify for the benefit of the rest of the Members. In the Bill, it was referring to a “child”. We note that the teachers employed by the Teachers Service Commission start from Early Childhood Education all the way to our students in our technical institutions, and thus the need to replace the word “child” with the word “learner”. view
