  • 2 Dec 2021 in National Assembly: Therefore, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker... I am sorry I have withdrawn. However, they should have stayed so that we see the end to it and see your ruling. Today, I can assure you nimekuvulia kofia because the ruling was timely and it will save this country. The last one, we will be blacklisted. If we are blacklisted, investments will not come in this country. We will face problems. Therefore, today, this House is divided among those who want to fight corruption and those who want to benefit from corruption. Choose which side you are today in this House. Choose which ... view
  • 2 Dec 2021 in National Assembly: Thank you Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I rise to support. Everything that has been said has already been said. I just want to state that I am very passionate about this matter because I am personally a victim of terrorism. I have an uncle who died in the 1998 bomb last. I have my colleague and my friend Peter Simani who died at the West Gate Terror attach. Therefore, this matter is very close to my heart. I feel extreme pain when I think that Kenya and Somalia today are lumped in one basket. We have a funny maritime decision ... view
  • 1 Dec 2021 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker, for giving me this opportunity to add my voice to the President’s Address yesterday. He scored an A in terms of legacy, especially on infrastructure. He has constructed 10,500 kilometres of roads. Everybody who has eyes knows that in every constituency in this country there have been new tarmac roads. There are lot of ongoing projects, including the Nairobi Expressway and Waiyaki Way. In Narok, we have benefitted from new 350 kilometres of tarmac, including the Narok-Maasai Mara road which is 89 kilometres. In terms of electricity connectivity, in the past it was only the ... view
  • 1 Dec 2021 in National Assembly: technical skills. For every building, you may have an engineer and an architecture, but the technical skills are the ones that will run in thousands. There is an ongoing construction of more than 200 TVETs in this country. He also forgot the issue of Uwezo Fund which has assisted so many youths; upgrading of NYS from an intake of 2000 annually to almost 30,000 during his term and disability mainstreaming. Before 2013, Kenya was number 15 in terms of disability rights in Africa but number one in 2017. That is why we were given the opportunity to co-host a World ... view
  • 25 Nov 2021 in National Assembly: Nominated, JP): Thank you very much, Hon. Speaker. I rise to support the Bill. It is very important for us to give others a second chance. God gave us a chance to pray, but also gave us knowledge of science so as to assist in procreation. God gave us legs to walk, but also gave us knowledge to create aeroplanes so that we can fly. If we can use technology, which is knowledge given by God, for procreation, so be it. I support the Bill and request all Members to support it. It is the first time that I have ... view

  • 25 Nov 2021 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I do not know if my eyes are failing me, but there is a stranger in the House. I do not know if the lady behind me is a Member of Parliament. Or is it because of the mask? She is too beautiful to be a Member of Parliament. view
  • 25 Nov 2021 in National Assembly: Mhe. Vile vile, tuliona kamba ... view
  • 25 Nov 2021 in National Assembly: Mhe.
  • 24 Nov 2021 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, for giving me this opportunity to support the Kenya Industrial Research and Development Institute Bill (National Assembly Bill No. 44 of 2020). This Bill is about research in all fields, not just engineers. Even if it was about engineers, it is not about welders with no known classmates in primary school, secondary school or university. Therefore, it is about research and I support it. The Bill is important to the country. This is the way to go. Although I have heard much being said on the issue… view
