This country has a new Constitution. One of the reasons this Constitution was done was to ensure that power is shared and not centralized. Therefore, anything that we do in this Assembly or anything that this country does should be done in the spirit of ensuring that power is never centralized in one place. view

  • 6 Aug 2014 in National Assembly: The resolutions of this Bill relating to labour and employment in this country have been a sham, if I may use that term. This is because the court we have has never had the status of a High Court. So, what the new Constitution did was to elevate that court to the level of a High Court and allowed this Parliament to come up with a court that will be with clear jurisdiction to deal with matters of employment and labour.
