  • 29 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. Is it in order for hon. Letimalo to term the Government that he had served very diligently as ruthless? view
  • 28 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I just wanted to ask a supplementary question. Could the Minister tell us why they went ahead and announced these salary increases if they were still going to take police officers round in circles, the way they are doing right now? view
  • 28 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Yes, but it is not coming out very clearly. Why did they announce the salary increases if they knew they were not going to implement them immediately? view
  • 23 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the Minister is not honest with this House. Could he tell us how much Charterhouse Bank is paying to the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) in terms of fees, or if the Ministry is enjoying the same fees as the CBK, and whether that is why they do not want to release depositors’ money? Could he tell us how much they have raked in so far? view

  • 14 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker. I thought procedurally we were supposed to interrogate the first Statement before the Minister proceeds to read the next Statement. This is because we have weighty issues to raise. view
  • 8 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Thank you, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. You have heard that four employees have already passed on and the harrowing experience that these workers have gone through is very serious. I remember even last time when we were having a meeting at Pangoni, many workers came to petition hon. Members of Parliament so that they could actually force the Minister for Labour to make sure that they are paid their dues. view
  • 8 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, it has also been mentioned here by the Assistant Minister that the company disposed of some assets. If they did, where did these proceeds go to? Why did they not dispose of the properties, take the money and pay workers before they could settle any other debt they had? view
  • 8 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. Is it in order for the Assistant Minister to avoid the question? The Member wants to know how long it will take to complete the structure. Is it in order for him to avoid answering the question? view
