  • 2 Apr 2015 in National Assembly: Thank you very much, hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 7 be amended in sub-clause (1) by- (b) deleting paragraph (f). I am proposing to delete paragraph (f) which says:- ―The Auditor-General shall give an opinion on whether the financial statements are adequate and reliable.‖ If you look at Article 229 of the Constitution what the Auditor-General is supposed to do goes beyond that.
