Temporary Deputy Speaker, I beg to move:- THAT, clause 21 of the Bill be amended— (a) in sub-clause (2), by deleting the word “youth” and substituting therefor the word “Kenyan”; (b) in the marginal note, by deleting the words “of youth”. This one has been explained. We are just removing the word “youth” and replacing it with “Kenyan”.

Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 27 of the Bill be amended— (a) in sub-clause (1) by deleting the words “on the youth”; (b)in sub-clause (2) by deleting the words “youth” and substituting therefor the words “person seeking employment”. The reasons are the same as for Clause 26.

Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 28 of the Bill be amended in sub-clause (2) by inserting the words “or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or both” immediately after the word “shillings.” This one is on prohibition of unauthorized use of data. the penalty that had been placed there says that a person who contravenes section 1 - which is on unauthorized use of data - commits an offence and shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding kshs1 million so, we have gone ahead and added “or to imprisonment ...
