  • 7 Aug 2008 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, he had already contributed. So, he has no right to come and say what he has said. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, we have been told that we also need to go home because of the Olympics, and share with our people the glory of the Olympics. In my constituency, we do not have television sets. So, I do not know how I am going to help my people to understand the Olympics when they do not have television sets! view
  • 7 Aug 2008 in National Assembly: That is not even a good reason to go on recess. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, we have heard that we need to work in the Committees. It is not necessary for Committees to work if their reports will not be laid on the Table of this House! view

We have been told that the community around the Tana Delta is opposed to the ... view
  • 6 Aug 2008 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, it is on the content. I had requested to find out what the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) report said. The Minister has only indicated that the report was positive. Could he table it, so that we know what its contents are? view
  • 6 Aug 2008 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. view
  • 6 Aug 2008 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, when a Statement is read, it is the duty of the House to interrogate. I was the only one who interrogated and there are other hon. Members who were interested--- view

  • 23 Jul 2008 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, on 2nd July, 2008, I sought a Ministerial Statement from the Minister for Regional Development Authorities regarding details of investors who are investing in the sugar industry in the Tana Delta. I was promised that this statement would have come on Thursday, last week. But it has not been brought up to now. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I am seeking for the Statement to be brought to the House. view
