The person who was being investigated appeared before the Committee and she confirmed that she went to Noor many times and coerced that Parliamentary staff. She was given the documents and she leaked them to the media. Those are the facts. I want to urge my friends in the House to support the Report. Today, we are looking at this Report, but tomorrow another Member may have used unscrupulous means to get documents or reports that affect each one of us and leaked them to the media. We are not just punishing Hon. Fatma Gedi., but we are sending a ...

No! It is Hon. Gladys and Rozaah Buyu who were attempting to punch me. I did not punch her. I cannot punch Hon. Esther Passaris here. I did not say I want to punch Hon. Esther Passaris. I cannot punch Hon. Esther Passaris. If I did not beat Hon. Simba Arati, how can I punch Hon. Esther Passaris? It is not possible.

Hon. Speaker, I just want to make a very small comment. I have gone through the whole document. I appreciate it is very detailed, but the fact that accidents are increasing and not reducing means all these Government interventions are not effective. I ask my Chairman to consider urging the Ministry to set some kind of a taskforce to review all these interventions. You cannot keep on doing the same thing over and over again and expect new results. That is all I want to say. I appreciate him for providing such a detailed Statement, which is actually a snapshot ...

The other week, before we went on recess, the Member for Homa Bay Town indicated that I am a vice-chair of a sub-committee that was to deal with a statement that I had sought through the Committee on security. The official record that I have here affirms my position that the sub-committees were proposed but not even a single sub-committee has sat to elect a chair or a vice-chair. Therefore, I want to ask you to give me permission to table this so that the Member for Homa Bay Town and the Vice-Chair of our Committee can either apologise or ...

more than one month. I know for a fact that the State Department for Interior is not to blame because it is not the business of the person to be overseen, but it is the business of the overseeing Committee. This is because there are very many avenues to pursue especially if getting such statements is difficult. So, I am frustrated. I have raised this matter even at the Committee level. I know for a fact that this Committee has seen more than 15 petitions lapse against time. I pray that you order the Committee to provide the statement within ...

I appreciate the Chair of the Departmental Committee on Transport, Public Works and Housing. I requested for his Statement a week ago. He committed to provide it in two weeks. He provided the Statement today. What is happening with this Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security? This House should ventilate on this. If the Committee is unable to serve this House, we should dissolve it and re-constitute it so that we can move forward.
