From the onset, I want to clearly state that I do not support this Motion. A CCTV camera is not a security system but a complementary of the system. What we need is a complete audit of security systems in our schools. I urge the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology to stop their activism. I want a clarification on what the Chair means when he says that a director elected under this section shall serve for one term of three years and shall be eligible for re-election for one further term. Does he mean he will not seek re-election? It is not clear. He needs to clarify whether they will be allowed to serve mandatory two terms. view
