Elizabeth won the Kasarani parliamentary seat in 2007, a constituency that was previously dominated by hardened male politicians. She also served as an assistant minister in the coalition government and was ODM party’s deputy Chairperson.

I seek clarification from the Speaker because, severally, provisions in the Constitution have been made reference to and on several occasions you have given a ruling referring us to the Standing Orders. I need clarification from you in reference to Article 2(1) of the Constitution which refers to the supremacy of the Constitution.
