Elizabeth Ongoro Masha

Elizabeth won the Kasarani parliamentary seat in 2007, a constituency that was previously dominated by hardened male politicians. She also served as an assistant minister in the coalition government and was ODM party’s deputy Chairperson.

I appreciate the fact that we are operating under a new system of governance where we have two levels of Government; the national Government and the county government and a lot of functions have been devolved to the county government. Our Constitution, under the Bill of Rights, recognises that every child has a right to life.
