I just want to look at the figures or the amounts of money allocated vis-a-vis the completion percentages. I am not very comfortable with 20 per cent of works done over a period of three years. We appreciate their work and encourage them to push for more stadia because FIFA requires a neighbourhood of four stadia. They should ensure that Nairobi becomes an international hub in terms of football. I want to advice Football Sports Kenya to invest in young talents. They should have mini-stadia. Ali is from Wajir have a lot of sporting activities that are associated with their culture. It is important that we distribute those stadia as provided for by nature. • 19 Nov 2020 in National Assembly: As Members are aware, an Ad hoc Committee was established by your good self in line with the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) Bereavement Policy to coordinate the arrangements towards the funeral of our departed colleague, Hon. Justus Murunga. I serve as the Chairperson. The Committee had its first meeting yesterday and commenced arrangements on how best to assist the family of the late Hon. Murunga to ensure that he gets a befitting send-off. Some Members of the Committee have already visited the family. We shall soon brief Members on funeral and other arrangements in due course. view
• 19 Nov 2020 in National Assembly: At the present, I wish to remind Members that in line with our established tradition, as well as the parliamentary practice regarding bereaved colleagues, the Leader of the Majority Party and the Leader of the Minority Party have authorized the Clerk of the National Assembly to deduct Ksh10,000 from every Member for onward transmission to the family of our departed colleague. view
