Thank you. I am talking about the amendment. You cannot exclusively talk about it without touching on the main Motion. That is because the way I understand it, all the police officers, especially those who have undergone specialized training, should be bonded for 10 years before they can leave and look for other pastures, whether green or not. The amendment makes the Motion better because some of the reasons why specialized police officers leave is because of exactly what has been covered in the amendment – that is their welfare, accommodation and so on. local resources are and what can be exploited for them to generate money and jobs for our youth. I have always said that because if we just depend on the money that comes from the national Government, then the difference between the county governments and Constituency Development Fund (CDF) is not there. The Senate should help us look at each county. Each county has its own unique features and opportunities. If those opportunities can be exploited, we can generate revenue at the local level and more importantly, generate jobs for our youth.
