The Senator for Mandera County who seems to have benefited from a visit by the committee, is giving us a report on the visit. However, the report that he is giving us does not form part of the content of the report brought by the committee. So, whose report are we going to believe; the report by the chairperson or by him? view

  • 7 May 2025 in Senate: I want to inform Sen. Cherarkey so that he does not belabour responding to that issue. The point of contention is that when committee visits me as governor, I want a situation where a visit to my office does not look like it is the central theme of the committee being in the county. That is exactly what we are saying. • 10 Apr 2025 in Senate: breakdown of the systems of governance, the same system that has broken down in the education sector in this country. We cannot sit here as a House and not make a comment on what is happening to Butere Girls at the National Schools and Colleges Drama Festivals in Nakuru. It is a big shame that, in fact, we have a Government in office today harassing children. From last night, you saw police officers using live bullets to harass children who are just acting. We are here to say that when a Government goes down to this level, that Government should ... view
  • 10 Apr 2025 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, in fact, the shame should go to Sen. Cherarkey. The strength of my statement is based on the same news that he watched last night. • 10 Apr 2025 in Senate: Our children have been harassed by the police since last night and we are calling on this Government. If it cannot protect our children, it should resign. That is what we are saying. You have no business being in office. view
