(iii) Another challenge which the Hon. Senators area aware of that our Committee encountered was the mis-application and mis-interpretation of the sub judice rule by the Cabinet Secretaries (CSs) to try and evade answering questions. However, we keep on pushing and we are overcoming this. The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposesonly. 4 Jul 2019 in Senate:
Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, as I conclude, in the half year, the Committee proposes to focus and pay special attention to the two Statements sought by Sen. Mutula Kilonzo Jnr., and Sen. Nyamunga that are yet to be finalized, the LTWP in Marsabit County, oil sites in Turkana County and geothermal wells in Nakuru County. Mr. Speaker, Sir, as I had mentioned, my Committee is particularly concerned on how fuel prices can be contained or brought down. I wish this House could stick together and come up with a move during the referendum that will come to make it the real House that was envisaged in the Constitution. It was watered down somewhere in Naivasha. I wish we can retrace that and bring it ...

On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. Maybe I have misunderstood my neighbour and friend all this time. He has done a very serious misnomer to question the order or even imagine it. It is a very serious matter, and I would request you to take the Standing Orders and apply recourse on him, like being sent out of this House for a couple of days.
