I went to a hospital where almost 80 Kenyans were waiting to be treated. I had two people from my constituency. A lady passed on from breast cancer. This is because she was not able to get early treatment. Because we could not bury her there, the cost of bringing the body from India was another problem. As soon as this Motion is passed, I will ensure that it is fast-tracked so that it can be implemented to the letter. This will enable us to have specialists trained locally to assist bring the cost of treatment for cancer down as soon as possible.
