Mr. Speaker, Sir, the initial amendment that we did was for us to have distinct committees of both Houses. That was informed by the fact that we have distinct constitutional functions as the two Houses. But I have a big problem deleting these Committees. Mr. Deputy Chairman, Sir, the argument here is that we should do things as we have done them in the past. We are living under a new dispensation. These Committees are necessary. I want to know from the Leader of Government Business because he also sits in the House Business Committee, what plans they have for the Bills which have gone all the way to the Committee Stage. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, the law of this land is that whenever such a factory is established, a comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment is done. Could he table any technical report to show that, that assessment has been done to allay the fears of Kenyans? This is about the health of Kenyans.
