(a) I am aware that Road D11, which serves both lower Yatta and Katulani District is in a state of disrepair and needs attention. (b) My Ministry has already released Kshs2.73 billion to be distributed equally to the 210 constituencies. That translates to Kshs13 million to each constituency for maintenance of rural roads. I want to announce that the next tranche of Kshs7 million should be in the accounts in the next 14 days. That includes Kitui West. • 15 Feb 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I have gone through the HANSARD and I have not received a promise from my Ministry to set aside that amount of money for the repair of that road unless the Member could be kind enough to favour me and confirm with the HANSARD for that day. I am not aware of such a promise from my Ministry. I have gone through the HANSARD for that day and I have not seen such a promise. view
