  • 9 Oct 2008 in National Assembly: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I was saying that there is no space for even putting up toilets in that town and the Assistant Minister cares less. If the said land belongs to the police, why are police officers living in makeshift buildings on that land? view
  • 9 Oct 2008 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I thank you for informing the Assistant Minister that we are all hon. Members. I want to advise him that we are not asking for land in Kipsigis County Council. We are asking for land in Bureti County Council. Those are two different things. So, if he is asking me to go to Kericho Town and discuss with Kipsigis County Council, I will not do so! I will go to Litein County Council, where I belong and where we want the land. Does the Assistant Minister know where this land is? view
  • 9 Oct 2008 in National Assembly: Thank you Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, for giving me an opportunity to address my mind to this all-important Bill. This Bill has been pending since the year 2003. That is when it first came to the Committee on Land, Agriculture and Natural Resources, which I chaired then and also this time round. • 8 Oct 2008 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. You heard the Vice-President and Minister for Home Affairs talk about Chinkororo . I do not know what that is. Is it Parliamentary parlance? view
  • 7 Aug 2008 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. With due respect, on the issue laying documents on the Table, hon. Ojode has not given me a copy of what he has laid on the Table. view
  • 7 Aug 2008 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. You have heard the Minister talk about the KPCU being fleeced by wealthy Kenyans. Would I be in order to request that the list of these wealthy Kenyans, who have stolen from the KPCU, be tabled in this House? view
  • 6 Aug 2008 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, illegal obstraction of water from our rivers and lakes is so rampant. The Minister has agreed that this, indeed, is illegal. Since she now knows that there are people drawing water from that river illegally, is it possible for her to table a list of the names of the persons who are involved, so that we know who they are? view
  • 5 Aug 2008 in National Assembly: On a point or order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. When the Clerk-at-the-Table called out Order No.4, I stood up but, unfortunately, you did not notice me. Then the Clerk-at-the- Table moved on yet I was still standing! view
  • 5 Aug 2008 in National Assembly: Yes, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. view
  • 5 Aug 2008 in National Assembly: Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. On June 8th--- view
