• 5 Jul 2007 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I had requested that this Question be brought here today to give me a chance to look at the list which was tabled yesterday by the Minister for Finance. I have looked at the list and I am satisfied that the ages of the drivers as registered in the Motor Vehicle Department are in order. I also looked at the tribal set-up and noted that it is better than it is at the level of senior managers. Thank you. So, I do not intend to ask the Question. • 4 Jul 2007 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, of concern to me is the safety on our roads in that a driver who drives a vehicle on the road must be competent and experienced. Out of these drivers, 30 of them had not been trained as drivers. They were trained recently as drivers through a crash programme by the Automobile Association (AA). Could the Minister confirm or deny that part? view
