Moving forward, I have said in many forums that it is my desire to ensure that we are able to feed ourselves. Some countries I have been to are more concerned about the food security of their people. They told us we cannot give them conditions since, they will borrow money from the bank at an interest and we wanted to dictate to them how much they will sell. Secondly, this was a bad time when there were currency fluctuations, all imports are done on the dollar and there was insufficient supply in the market.
